The NGFW firewall is a modern type of firewall that allows you to control and protect against modern threats on the Internet. The basic function of a firewall is to divide the network into a secure (internal) network and an insecure network (Internet), while preventing unwanted people from accessing the secure part.
Product description
It is a solution for protecting the corporate network. It is a combination of a stateful firewall (packet filter), working on L3-L4, and advanced features (Next Generation features), such as IPS, Antimalware, URL filtering, etc. It brings to the network the necessary application visibility and control capability up to L7. Thus, the Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) provides multiple layers of protection that will clearly enhance the protection at the perimeter. In addition to typical stateful firewall features such as NAT and VPN, it also provides deeper packet analysis and TLS/SSL inspection.
