ALE OctoShield provides continuous protection of endpoints against various types of malware. This protection is not only functional on the customer's network (LAN/WAN), but also when the device user is connected to the Internet, for example, from home. As part of the service, we use advanced cloud security products from Cisco Systems combined with the expertise of our Security Operation Center staff.
The goal of ALEF OctoShield is to continuously monitor the ALEF specialist customer's endpoints, checking for malware and blocking communication from each endpoint to malicious Internet domains and websites before the device is infected with malware. If there is a security event that we assess as serious, we will send the customer a notification that a suspicious event.

Continuous and automatic protection of endpoint devices against security attacks: protection works even if the user is working outside the company, e.g. in a home-office
Continuous 24x7 monitoring and assessment of security events: Automatic logging by Cisco Secure Endpoint and Umbrella solutions by the ALEF Security Operation Center (SOC) security team in 8×5 mode
Basic analysis of logged security events on endpoint devices: In particular, malware, command and control callbacks, cryptomining
Transmission of information on the occurrence, impact and security risk of a confirmed security incident, with suggestions on how to further address the specific situation
Regular monthly reports: With a summary of security incidents detected on endpoint devices
As part of the extended ALEF OctoShield option, assistance with remediation of security attacks and their consequences, or provisioning for forensic analysis, e.g. for investigation by the Czech Police
