Service description

The discipline of Enterprise Architecture does not need to be practiced across the entire organization. You can start with a focus on a pressing area of ICT or ICT-business collaboration, where it will offer you tools and methods to map, describe and propose change or development in that area.

The Enterprise Architecture and TOGAF standard looks at an organization or parts of it in different layers, which the ArchiMate language is adapted to. These layers are:

1. Strategic and motivational
2. Business
3. Application
4. Technological
5. Physical

Specific activities and their objectives within the service provided by ALEF Enterprise Architecture may include:

• When ensuring business continuity, the importance of individual ICT systems is identified, the impact of their temporary unavailability or complete loss is identified, and scenarios of responses to their unavailability are created.
• Within the overall ICT strategy, activities are planned to ensure the renewal and development of systems at levels appropriate to their importance to the running of society.
• Digital transformation supports business growth, identifying opportunities for automation or optimization using technology and data analytics.
• The Cloud Strategy will evaluate the possibility of using cloud services and, where appropriate, propose their integration into the normal operation.
• The Security Strategy addresses the development of ICT security in both procedural and technical terms.

Managing ICT in accordance with an approved Enterprise Architecture will allow for more accurate targeting as well as defending investments in the company and minimizing wasted investments.
