Business Development Manager – F5

    1. Qualifications

    • College/university degree or a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in relevant areas of application security and delivery.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Strong understanding of customer/partner needs with the capability to identify pain points and provide effective solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with client leaders at all levels.
    • Emotional intelligence and effective negotiation skills.
    • Experience in selling complex solutions within the IT security domain, including hardware, software, and SaaS portfolios.
    • Good communication, strong writing, verbal and presentation skills.
    • Loyalty and commitment to the company.
    • Ability to collaborate with F5 Integrator Partners on the local market.
    • Fluency in English both oral and written.

    2. Job Purpose

    • The Business Development Manager (BDM) will serve as a key figure, combining sales expertise with strong communication skills and understanding the entire F5 portfolio to drive business success on the Adriatic market. The F5 BDM is responsible for the entire sales lifecycle of the entire F5 portfolio and the relevant ALEF services (pre-sales, training, post sales).

    3. Position in organization

    • Reports to the Adriatics GM, closely cooperates with f5 Group BDM Lead.
    • Works independently with no subordinates.

    4. Duties and Responsibilities

    • Drive F5 business in the Adriatic region (Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia & Herzegovina) as the memeber of the ALEF Group F5 Team specilizing in application security and delivery
    • Organize events, workshops, manage and hold internal and external partner sales trainings
    • Develop relationships and leverage channel through account planning and lead generation activities with channel partners
    • Effectively communicate and demonstrate F5 solutions both internally and externally
    • Prepare formal proposals, quotes to channel partners for both new and renewal business opportunities
    • Keep the opportunity list up to date
    • Forecasting both internally (ALEF) and externally (F5) considering booking, shipment and incovicing dates
    • Develop the F5 partner base and always look for potential new partners
    • Develop and maintain end-customer reach
    • Territory planning through research, development and maintenance of long and short term sales and marketing plans both for ALEF and F5 Inc
    • Cooperate with channel players selling F5 complimentary solutions
    • Meet or exceed sales quotas, revenue goals and margin expectations
    • Life-cycle management and sales of F5’s product portfolio
    • Visit clients, attend trade shows, and participate in other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.
