F5 Systems Engineer
Qualifications
- College/university degree or a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in relevant areas of application security and application delivery.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong understanding of customer/partner needs with the capability to identify pain points and provide effective solutions.
- Good communication, strong writing, verbal and presentation skills.
- Loyalty and commitment to the company.
- Ability to collaborate with F5 Integrator Partners on the local market.
- Fluency in English both oral and written.
Job Purpose
- This is a technical position. We are looking for a candidate who would be specialized in F5 products. F5 products provide application delivery, application traffic management and web application security
- F5 Systems Engineer will together with F5 Business Develepment Manager participate on business development in Adriatic markets (Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia & Herzegovina)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Presales i.e. presentation for partners and customers, creation of a solution proposal based on the F5 solution and specifications for the sales department, creation of technical parts and responses to requests from business partners or customers
- Implementation i.e. be part of a partner’s project team with responsibility for the implementation and configuration of selected projects
- Training i.e. becoming an instructor and being able to train official F5 courses
- Support i.e. solving problems in the relevant areas, performing analysis and solution design, communication with the partners and manufacturer's support
- Effectively communicate and demonstrate F5 solutions both internally and externally
- Prepare formal proposals, quotes to channel partners for both new and renewal business opportunities
- Support for events, workshops, manage and hold internal and external partner technical trainings
- When necessary, visit clients, attend trade shows, and participate in other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.

What you might have as an advantage
- F5 professional certification
- Knowledge of the principle of web application functionality
- Knowledge of the principle of Kerberos, SAML, OpenID authentication mechanisms, etc.
- Knowledge of integration of traditional DC and private and public clouds (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Microsoft AKS, Amazon AWS, Amazon EKS, Google Cloud, GKE, Equinix)
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and automation technology, orchestration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift, Docker, Salt)
- Knowledge of NGINX, Apache, MS IIS technologies
- Experience with other Application Delivery Network technologies – ADNs are welcome
- Willingness to learn new technologies
