ALEF has been one of the leading suppliers of state-of-the-art ICT technologies and value-added solutions since 1994, focusing on Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Collaboration, Cloud, Data Center, Networking and related areas. The company's unique strength is its comprehensive offering from analysis, solution design, implementation, training, certification to monitoring and professional services - both for SMEs and multinational corporations.

The company operates in Central and Eastern Europe with its headquarters in the Czech Republic and offices in Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Poland and Greece, with a presence in countries such as Malta, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia. And we certainly don't stop there...


History of the submarine

ALEF is intrinsically linked to the submarine motif, which is a symbol of cohesion, cooperation and strong teamwork combined with state-of-the-art technology. "Immersing ourselves" in the customer's requirements and finding the right solution for them has always been our motto.

Submarine crew

Our submarine is a close-knit team of people who work for us or with us, which we consider to be our strongest point. Since 1994, we've been building a collective of top IT professionals who are constantly learning and improving to provide you with the most professional service in all areas, so we can respond promptly to any technology challenges and issues. Our strength is our unrivalled breadth of knowledge and unique know-how.

 

It is no longer possible to introduce all the members of our crew as there are more than 500 of us. Let us introduce at least a few of them...

 

Miroslav Vodolan, Head of Application

In his current position, he organizes three technical teams - Analytics, Collaboration and Software Development. He has been with ALEF since 2011 and is happy to be part of such a successful and stable company. His motivation for the years to come is the projects he has managed and the satisfied customers. He tells his new colleagues, "Work hard but smart and always be at least one step ahead of the competition".

They try to follow the motto that life is not just about work. He spends his free time mostly with his family on trips in nature. For Mirek, real relaxation is mountain biking, travelling, mountains or Thursday football with friends.


Vojtěch Horáček, Systems Engineer

Vojt's position at ALEF is system engineer. His main task is to have a detailed knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform, thanks to which he prepares technical documents for clients, such as training or pre-sales documents.

Vojta especially appreciates the friendly environment at ALEF, where he and his colleagues engage in various activities outside of working hours, he greatly appreciates the possibility of various training courses and especially the opportunity to work remotely and thus have a balanced work-life balance.


Tomas Hoffman, ISAM

Tomáš is an internal sales account manager at ALEF. Tomáš's main mission is to ensure the smooth running of the sales process, his job involves both administration and communication with customers, partners and colleagues.

What Tomáš appreciates most about ALEF is the openness to new ideas and the outside world, the opportunity to grow and explore IT areas.

Barbora Kaše, Recruitment Specialist

Bára joined ALEF at the beginning of 2016 to help with the growing recruitment of new colleagues. A few projects and part-time jobs turned into full-time recruitment, and she joined the HR team in the role of Recruitment Specialist. Bára has been recruiting her entire working career and has supported her practice with a college degree in Andragogy/Adult Education.

At ALEF, she is responsible for the complete recruitment for the Czech Republic office, including the support of regional offices. In addition to recruiting, she is also involved in the adaptation of new employees and HR projects. What she enjoys most about her job is the diversity and helping to create new teams.

In addition to her work duties, she is devoted to her two daughters, with whom she spends all her free time. When she has time, she enjoys playing sports and going on trips.

At ALEF, we place emphasis on the training and development of our employees. Each of us has the opportunity to participate in deciding the direction of further growth. Of course, ALEF offers technical training for system engineers and supports small group English language training for all employees. All our managers have the opportunity to participate in a leadership academy.
