HOW DOES ALEF SEASHIELD WORK?
With ALEF SeaShield, your company's Internet traffic is secured with a VPN and routed to the Cisco Umbrella Cloud, where comprehensive online security controls are in place.
The service can include the provision of equipment to ensure this process, even if you have multiple locations. If you already have a device such as a router that meets our technical requirements, don't worry, we will use it and reduce the overall cost of providing the service.
ALEF SeaShield secures your company's Internet traffic with a VPN, redirecting that traffic to the Cisco Umbrella Cloud where comprehensive security controls are in place.
This service is also ideal for companies with multiple offices and allows the use of existing equipment such as routers as long as they meet the technical requirements, further reducing costs.

WHAT SECURITY FEATURES DOES ALEF SEASHIELD OFFER?
ALEF SeaShield includes the following security features in one license package:
Cloud-delivered firewall (CDFW) - Provides visibility and control of all data traffic across all ports and protocols. Includes mobile applications, peer-to-peer file sharing, collaboration tools (e.g., Webex or Zoom), and any non-Web or non-DNS traffic. Logs activity and blocks unwanted traffic using IP, port and protocol rules (Layer 3/4 firewall), application rules (Layer 7 firewall) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) rules.
Secure Web Gateway (SWG) - Offers greater control, transparency of data traffic and protects your staff from malware and other threats. SWG is a robust proxy that logs and audits all of your organization's web traffic, providing full visibility and control at the URL, application level, and advanced protection against security threats.
DNS-layer security - Provides security at the DNS level, using the Internet infrastructure to block requests to malicious and unwanted destinations before establishing a connection, stopping threats on any port or protocol. This DNS-layer security can be deployed on your network in minutes.
Cloud access security broker (CASB) - Quickly and efficiently detects "shadow IT". CASB identifies and monitors cloud applications used in your environment. This information helps you integrate the cloud into your IT, reducing security risks and blocking the use of inappropriate cloud applications. CASB protects user identities, prevents account compromise and ensures cloud data is protected from threats or loss.
Data loss prevention (DLP) - Analyzes sensitive data online, providing visibility and control. DLP not only alerts you to potential leaks and abnormal file transfers, but also blocks sensitive data from leaving your organization.
